ABOUT ABOUT

Phoenix Tears Productions presents If Books Could Kill. Join us for a 19th Century Lovecraftian evening as we examine the murder of 11 year old Gracey. It's the evening after the Strach's annual Halloween Ball in 1871. Gracey's father--the butler--and the rest of the the staff at Strach Manor are hosting their annual afterparty. Follow the events of the evening, meet the strange guests in attendance, and learn of the greed and suspicion that gives everyone a motive for murder. Was Gracey killed so her father could have access to the substantial trust set up in her name? Did she know too much about about the fabled Necronomicon that, unbeknownst to almost everyone, is protected within the manor library? The clues will be there to follow, will you discover who murdered young Gracey?

Doors open approximately 30 minutes to show.

This is a Death Day Players Mystery. The Death Day Players are a troupe of ghosts who come together to re-enact the events leading up to the death of the Featured Ghost of the evening. Expect an evening of fun, and as much interaction as you choose, as you see the events of the evening unfold and then get a chance to interview our ghost characters to try and figure out who-dunnit. Once you think you've figured it out, you will get to cast your vote. The evening culminates in our host drawing a name from the names of who voted for the real killer and that person will win a prize.
